Bye bye 2025, hello 2026

Hello again, it's been a while.
At the beginning of 2025, I thought I'd do a blog at the end of every month... and that totally did not follow through πŸ˜… Now it's a new year and I thought we'd give this a go again, just for fun, no overthinking it! Just sharing random thoughts πŸ’­

some highlights from 2025

(in no particular order)

  • Max and I travelled to Iceland to celebrate two years of being together / our first wedding anniversary / honeymoon! πŸ’ž

  • Finished my mat pilates certification!

  • Went to an auction house and got a reformer! (which now sits in our dining room because that's currently the best spot to fit it πŸ˜‚)

  • Got my first personal training client

  • Bought a new action camera (cause I thought my GoPro died πŸ˜…)

  • Fell back in love with reading!

  • Got an e-bike and remembered how much I enjoy biking

  • We put a ceiling fan/light in our bedroom! So now we don't need to rely on just our reading lamps for light πŸ’‘

and some
intentions
for 2026

  • Less social media scrolling, more reading books

  • Eat more food, fuel my body (been trying to gain weight). Eat sweets in moderation, stay hydrated

  • Take better care of my eyes --take omega, use the hot compress once a week, use eye drops when needed

  • Focus more on mobility and how my body feels and moves, and less about which weights I'm using

  • Schedule time for fun! Dance more, crochet again, play animal crossing, go longboarding, use my roller skates

  • Bike more! (once there's no snow and the weather is nice)

  • Take my vitamins (omega, magnesium, D)

  • Get certified to teach reformer Pilates

  • Blog more?!

  • Just send it! Stop putting off doing things

  • Stop overthinking, use imagination in a positive way

  • Don't be shy to take pictures
