I'm Shar!

Short for Sharlene. Sharstar is a nickname that came about when I was a kid and to this day, I still like the ring to it.

In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor of Computing degree from the University of Guelph (go gryphons!! 💛). Shortly after graduating, I got a job at a tech company and became a Front-End Web Developer 👩🏻‍💻 After four years, I decided it was time for a change and switched into a field I'm more passionate about and enjoy - fitness! Over the summer of 2024, I became a certified personal trainer and started teaching group fitness classes. And then over the summer of 2025, I became a certified mat pilates instructor!

If you're wondering why I made this website, it's my lil creative outlet - my own space on the internet to drop random thoughts and what not 💭
